At Newstead Priory our head chef Marina creates delicious dishes using only the best quality ingredients which are locally sourced where possible, so that guests can enjoy a taste of Lincolnshire.

Our butcher maintains very high standards and supplies us with the finest Lincolnshire produce including beef, pork, lamb and free range poultry. We also use free range eggs. 

Any fish dishes are prepared only with fish from sustainable sources and we adhere strictly to the Marine Conservation Society 'eco-friendly' fish guide.

Popular local specialities served at Newstead include Lincolnshire sausage, Lincolnshire Poacher cheese, Lincoln Red beef and Lincolnshire Plumbread.

Enjoyment of food is extremely important to us at Newstead and all food tastes are expertly catered for. These include a wide range of vegetarian dishes, children’s meals and provision of specialist foods for diners with specific dietary requirements.

A full evening menu is also available, including our own hog roast cooked whole on a spit and carved in front of our guests.

We have an extensive list of suggested welcome drinks and a fully stocked bar.
