Our butcher maintains very high standards and supplies us with the finest Lincolnshire produce including local beef, pork & lamb, poultry from Ruskington and free range eggs from happy hens in nearby Osgodby.
Fruit & vegetables are sourced from farm shops where possible, ensuring genuine freshness and superb taste for our customers.
Any fish dishes are prepared only with fish from sustainable sources and we adhere strictly to the Marine Conservation Society 'eco-friendly' fish guide.
Popular local specialities served at Newstead include Lincolnshire sausage, Lincolnshire Poacher cheese, Lincoln Red rib of beef & a variety of locally baked breads including Pocklington's delicious Lincolnshire Plumbread.
